So Far Behind!

Ever since my week in the hospital I have defiantly slacked on blogging. Ive been totally busy trying to get back on a routine but today was not the day because Tanner had a 1pm appointment with the ENT to get his Ear molds done again. Yes, I said again! While I was away in Shreveport having surgery, Tanner took his Ear plugs out and put them down the drain. Needless to say Tanner was so Bad while we were there because it was nap time. When we got home I decided that I would mow the yard and let Tanner play outside in his pool with NO nap so, he would go to bed early.

Potty training is going okay, I guess. Jeffrey took Tanner to my moms while he worked when I was in the Hospital and he pooped on the potty for her 2x but he want do it for me. I just don't understand? He's gotten to the point where he want even tell me he's gotta "tt''. I can't wait for all this to be over with!


Yesterday was Mother's Day and I had a Great one. We originally planned to go to the lake for the day to play on the beach and grill hamburgers but living in Louisiana with the Crazy weather it was too cold and rainy! Instead we had dinner with my parents and grandparents! I love being Tanner's Mommy!

Yesterday was my sisters 17th Birthday. We spent the day in Shreveport eating at Joe's Crab Shack and shopping on the board walk. While at Joe's they made her dress like a bunny while they sang "Happy Birthday". After Shopping my sister got her belly button pierced. Tanner had a blast with all the girls and was very GOOD! Its hard to believe that she'll be graduating High School next year.

All in a short notice!

Not this past Sunday but, the Sunday before that (4-25-10) I got a call from my Urology Doctor wanting to do my surgery that Tuesday because they had an opening. So last Monday I spent the day organizing and packing for the hospital. We had to leave Monday evening because my surgery was in Shreveport. Tuesday morning came early, I ended up being the first to have surgery and spent all day in recovery to find out they didn't get any stones out. Read my other post about why I have kidney stones. The doctor said they didn't go in the right angle and were going to send me for a cat scan on Wednesday to get a better picture. Thursday was another try and a very good one. They ended up getting 13 stones out. When the Doctor made his rounds he was going to send me home on Friday but decided to schedule another surgery Friday to go in and remove my stint and use a camera to see if there were any more stones. Very good decision because they removed 3x the amount of stones as the did the day before. Finally, I was sent home on Saturday. I'm doing really good but just really sore! Oh and did I say how much I missed my boys? BUNCHES!!!

We hate Pet Dander!

In my last post I asked "What was Tanner looking at?''

Here it is....Of Course puppies! He loves dogs but, we cant have one.Y? Because he's highly allergic to pet dander!

When Tanner was about 4 months old he was hospitalized for a rash from head to toe that they thought was from his milk. After changing his milk multiply times and days in the hospital it went away and we got to go home.


While staying at the hospital, Jeffrey's mom and step-dad kept our miniature Yorkie named Caper. Jeffrey and I then decided to let them have Caper since he would receive more attention with them and we still would get to see him. We were still in the process of house training him so, it took a lot of time and effort. After moving back from Baton Rouge, We decided to get Tanner an outside dog to play with. I found this family that were giving away labs. Jeffrey thought this was great and wanted to name him Drake. Tanner loved him! After about 2 weeks of having Drake, Tanner broke out into another rash. His Doctor then decided that it was time to see an allergy doctor. When the results came back that Tanner was highly allergic to pet dander we were shocked because that meant we had to get rid of Drake.It's sad that Tanner cant have a puppy because he loves them to death and freaks out when he sees them. Maybe he'll eventually grow out of it but some kids don't.

Potty training

As we continue to potty train, Tanner is doing fantastic! He went all day today with NO accidents. I still cant get him to poop on the potty. Please give me any advice you may have because I don't know how to do it. He still runs and hides. I really am proud of him though.

This past weekend Tanner was playing outside with my sister and got his first splinter in his foot. It was really sad because we had to hold him down to get it out. Jeffrey made sure I grabbed my camera to take a picture.
When I started this blog, I wasn't sure how to do it or if I would even like it. I can say now that I love it but I'm still learning. I've really learned a lot reading others blogs and have enjoyed it. Every time I get a New follower I get excited and my husband laughs at me.

Happy Birthday Jeffrey!

Another year older and on the verge of going bald(not really) your still cute as can be. I hope you had a Great Birthday this year to make up for last. I know I had fun spending the day with you like always. I am very blessed to have a man like you that will sit at the Doctors office with me for 3 hours on your Birthday! Lunch was awesome! Its hard to believe that you were only 20 years old when we started dating and now 25, wow! I guess it's true when people say "time fly's by when your having fun." Thank you for everything and I love you so much!

Not Me Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

My Turn! Let me start out by saying this is my First "Not Me Monday" post so I'm really excited or should I have said NOT my first post? It's NOT me to wake up and feed my child donuts for breakfast. When I specifically told my husband that we were going to start eating healthy. Then I did NOT start cleaning EVERY room in my house at 8 am to then find out that the company I was having over decided to wait until 7pm to come over.

I most certainly did NOT give my child the the left over chocolate icing after I baked a cake last week for dessert. See Not Me! I also will NOT spend all day tomorrow in Shreveport with my Husband! Not Me!
